What We Do

Together for Growth, Together for Good

Education

Education is the foundation of a better future and a powerful tool for overcoming challenges such as poverty, unemployment, poor healthcare, and social inequality. By educating children, we empower them to achieve their full potential, make informed decisions, and contribute positively to society. Although the Right to Education Act guarantees free and compulsory education for children, many still struggle to access quality learning due to economic hardships and inadequate resources. Ensuring education for every child is not just an investment in individuals but also in the progress and prosperity of the nation as a whole.

Jeevan Dataa Charitable Trust’s flagship initiative, Mission Education, empowers underprivileged children through quality education, nutrition, and wellness support. Aligned with the National Education Policy (2020) and SDG 4, the programme reaches vulnerable children, including those from low-income families, remote areas, tribal communities, and other challenging circumstances, helping them build a brighter future.

Healthcare

Access to quality healthcare remains a major challenge in India, especially for people living in rural, remote, and underserved communities. Limited healthcare infrastructure, difficult terrain, and lack of awareness often prevent timely medical care. Strengthening healthcare access and outreach is essential to ensure equitable health services for all and to support the vision of universal health coverage.

Jeevan Dataa Charitable Trust’s community-focused healthcare programme brings essential primary healthcare services directly to underserved rural and urban communities. Through a balanced approach of preventive care and medical treatment, the programme improves access to affordable, quality healthcare and helps bridge critical gaps in healthcare delivery.

Livelihood Programme

India’s youth are its greatest strength and a key driver of economic growth. Equipping young people, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds, with relevant skills and employment opportunities is essential to unlocking their potential. By fostering employability and empowering youth, we can build a stronger workforce and contribute to sustainable national development.

Jeevan Dataa Charitable Trust’s Livelihood Programme empowers unemployed and underemployed youth from disadvantaged communities by providing skill development, training, and employment opportunities in high-growth sectors. Aligned with the Skill India Mission and SDGs 4 and 8, the programme helps young people build sustainable careers and become active contributors to the nation’s development.

Women Empowerment

Women’s empowerment is key to achieving gender equality and building a more inclusive, prosperous society. By ensuring equal access to education, opportunities, resources, and decision-making, women can realize their full potential and contribute meaningfully to social and economic development. Empowering women strengthens communities, drives sustainable progress, and creates a more equitable future for all.

Jeevan Dataa Charitable Trust’s Women Empowerment Programme, Swabhiman, supports marginalized women by improving access to healthcare, nutrition, and livelihood opportunities. Through community-based initiatives, the programme promotes awareness, skill development, financial independence, and gender equality, empowering women to lead positive change in their families and communities.

Disaster Response

India is highly vulnerable to natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, cyclones, and droughts due to its geographical location and environmental conditions. Factors like rapid urbanization, climate change, and population pressure further increase disaster risks, making preparedness and response essential for protecting lives and livelihoods and ensuring sustainable development.

Jeevan Dataa Charitable Trust’s Disaster Response Programme supports affected communities through timely emergency relief and long-term rehabilitation. From earthquakes and cyclones to floods across different states, the Trust has consistently responded to crises by providing immediate assistance and helping families rebuild their lives through support in education, healthcare, and livelihoods.
